After being to 2 shops the first telling me I needed a transmission I found a shop that showed me what was making the clunking noise in the rear of my 84. My U Joints have play and my sway bar bushings are metal to metal. The shop is suppose to be first class place. The owner said he would price parts and give me a quote next week. Anyone have this type of repair done on their C4?. What should I expect to pay as a fair price?
